In recent months, Singapore telecommunications companies have begun enforcing stricter controls on SIM cards that send or receive a high volume of messages — especially from unknown numbers. This means:
- Girls may have their SIM cards restricted within their first day of service.
- They are unable to receive or reply to SMS messages even if they want to.
- Many have had to switch to WhatsApp as their primary channel because it’s not affected by telco filtering or blocks.
So, if you don’t receive a response via SMS, it’s not always due to disinterest or bad service. It may very well be a technical limitation or telco restriction beyond their control.
Our Current Stand: Promoting Dual-Channel Communication
While WhatsApp has become the default for many companions due to reliability, we understand that some customers prefer SMS or even WeChat due to privacy or convenience.
That’s why we are actively encouraging all agents and girls to:
- Use both SMS and WhatsApp wherever possible.
- Clearly state their preferred contact method on their listings.
- Respond to SMS when technically possible, or offer an alternative such as WeChat or Telegram.
We are also working with agents to pre-check SIM viability and communication availability before girls go live on the platform.
